• The keyboard is an input device
• Most mice use either optical or laser technology
• Monitors are output devices
• Many games and videos require high-definition (HD) monitors
• Printers and scanners add value to systems 
• Drives have changed considerably over 20 years
• External drives give users more storage options
• Tower cases have expansion bays    
• Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, Printer, Scanner, Storage drives, and game controllers/ joysticks. These are all peripherals

• High definition: 1920 x 1080 pixels
